Unexpected people and things

In Exodus God asked Moses to help Lead his people out of Egypt. Moses at first had many reservations and questioned God asking him Why do you want me to tell Pharaoh, I have a speech impediment. God answered him, don’t I control what comes out of your mouth? This showed me how God sometimes uses people in unexpected situations to accomplish extraordinary things.

I want to share with you a story of me and my neighbor and how  we turned a tense situation into a triumph and how when you follow God for whatever you want and need in your life, you won’t be steered wrong. To me this was a small miracle in the making, and it will continue to be a work in progress but I believe that God was present during this entire situation.

Question: Have you had any unexpected results or worked with unexpected people to do great things? If not, any examples?

    That’s an awesome story, Lincoln. That sounds like something I’d do or have done; the not talking to a neighbor for ten years. This is inspiring. I definitely got something from your story. I need to reach out in patience. Good stuff.

      You know Floyd I held a grudge for a long time against this guy and truly never went back to engage him and time just flew by. Just goes to show how people and things change. God works it out in his own timing. I knew we were brothers from a different mother.

    Great stuff Lincoln. An unexpected result of a stressful situation for us was adopting our son….didn’t see how God was working it all out, but He did!

    I’ve had stressful and “impossible” situations turn out for good. So often, I’ve discovered that God already went out ahead and made the way straight. And I’ve learned to give people more credit than I’d given them previously. :)

      Absolutely, Ngina I think as human and I’m speaking for myself I sometimes can hold things longer than I should. God says to let them go, and I didn’t in that situation until he brought it full circle. Thanks for sharing.

    I’m currently going through a situation and praying for Godly wisdom on how to precede. My human nature whats to hold a huge gradge and tell someone all that is wrong with THEM…but God gently reminds me of all that is wrong with me and yet He loves me anyway. That’s how I need to respond to these perceived wrongs…in love. At the foot of the cross is level ground. We all need love, grace and forgiveness. Before my situation will change, there are things in me that need changing. It’s a painful process. I”m ready to get to the other side and have an amazing story to share!

      Its hard not to lash out TC and I totally understand. God has a way of doing that doesn’t he? He always finds a way to tug on your heart strings and guide you to the right path as long as we are in alignment with him. So amazing, and I will be praying for your situation to change with no pain involved.
