I trust that you are following along in this series of transformation and you are following your goals for success. We are charging forward in 2012 for these twelve weeks to Pick Four specific goals that are well-balanced in our lives that will keep us focused and actually accomplish something in this first part of 2012. How are you doing with yours?
If you haven’t started yet, you are behind on the eight ball and you need to catch up quickly because this series is going to be moving with or without you. I am going to share with you a few of my goals and how they pertain to my life and what I need to specifically do. Right now I am going to concentrate on my first Goal and tell you a little bit about it and why it’s so important to me.
Goal #1 - (To live my life-like Jesus on a daily basis)
- Benefits from reaching this goal: I would be walking where GOD wants me to be. I believe I will be able to bless other, my family and become a servant for GOD and live an exemplary life as a servant to others through Christ.
- Skills or Knowledge required to reach this goal: Everyday I must stay in my bible reading, and continuing to live like him as best I can. Have humility, patience, and to put others before myself, in other words become a servant.
- Major obstacles and mountains to climb to reach this goal: The many distractions, cares, the little things that will come and try to knock you off your goal of achieving that true connection with GOD. As you know, nobody is perfect and there will be things that are going to try to knock me off what I am trying to accomplish. It will be easy NOT to read my bible, but I am setting up safe guards for that.
This is one GOAL that is not sexy and it does not give you any cool or style points with many. However, for me it’s not what others think about me, my goals or my blog. It’s about what I am writing here today into the world that I am focusing my attention on. It’s about becoming a servant for GOD first in public, and walking by faith through that.
Question: How has this week been for you with all the work that had to be done during the GOALS week 1?
