Love the opportunity

Have you ever been given the opportunity to do something? How about be apart of an organization or apart of an Entrepreneurial business that seemed interesting to you. Or maybe you just found a new job and its the opportunity you have been looking for. Do you know at some point that the excitement from that opportunity will fade?

So what do you do after the opportunity fades? There are a few steps that must be taken in order to keep pushing through on your goals.

  1. Love the fact that you have an opportunity – Who ever said that digging a ditch was work that would make you happy? Nobody, but what you have to remember is that you have the opportunity to do something greater. How about the people you meet and speak to? Now where most fail to move forward is that they complain about the situation but never take action to move on.
  2. Have the ability to learn and move – You have the opportunity to learn and move on to something else. You have the opportunity to keep learning from those around you that have the skill-set that you desire. Act like and become the person that you want to attract. Write a list down of the type of person you would like to work with and then become that person.
  3. Never Give up – No matter how bleak that situation may seem, you should never give up. Don’t give in to the media’s depiction of the economy. Will you buy into the agenda they are pushing or will you create your own agenda and keep pushing through?
  4. See the bigger picture – Your situation that you are in today, you must see the bigger picture. You must see 1, 5, 10 years down the line. Where will you be and what will you be doing. How many people would you have helped via your opportunity and how would you have done it? These are the questions you should be asking yourself. Do you really see the bigger picture or is this just the here and now?
  5. Develop yourself – The place where you are will always seem like its not the place you should be at. You may feel frustrated and really want to move forward. You want something different and you want more for your life but you don’t know where to turn. Now is the time to develop yourself personally. Remember Jim Rohn always says to work harder on yourself that you do on your job. You must read the book, and attend the seminar in order to learn new skills.

Now you have Blueprint for your opportunity and how to make the most of it. Would you rather live fine or super-fine? You have the choice because the times we live in have an abundance of opportunity around them. Don’t stay on the sidelines, get up and move and embrace that opportunity and the opportunities around you.

Question: How will you embrace the opportunity you have been given? How will you improve?
