I’m Going to Chick-Fil-A-Leadercast

Yes, I will be attending the Chick-Fil-A-Leadercast in Atlanta however there is one caveat. I will be at a Simulcast location where I live in McDonough GA. I truly wanted to get a chance to be in the live element and to see the great Leaders in person, but since this is my first experience at the Leadercast, I am going to attend the simulcast for now. Maybe next year I will attend the live event.

I am preparing to hear all the speakers, and see how a simulcast environment will be. However, there is nothing like the real thing right? I will definitely update you guys on how everything went and how the simulcast experience is because I really don’t know what to expect. However, I do expect to learn allot. I expect to be exhausted after, and I expect to be excited.

Here are some things I am expecting to learn;

  1. How to become a better Leader
  2. How to Teach better
  3. How to be a better servant
  4. How not to have an ego as a Leader
  5. How to Let God Lead me
  6. How to take my business to next Levels by Leading
  7. How to engage others
  8. How to become a better Writer/Speaker
  9. How to not let others dictate your future
  10. How to Lead even when your title does not say Leader

I hope that I find what I am looking for, and If not there should be some people there that I can ask questions of. I just can’t wait! I watched this video below and I would like you to watch it also. It’s a round table interview with some of my favorite speakers. I hope you enjoy it.

Question: Have you ever been too Chick-Fil-A-LeaderCast? If not, what other Conference have you been to that made a change in you and why?

Dan, it was awesome. I have so many notes I filled my IPad up with information. I will be sharing some of these thoughts via posts this upcoming week. Thanks for stopping by.

Lincoln, I was in Atlanta last year and this year. The content is always amazing. Last year, I felt it was critical to be there in person. This year, I didn’t feel that way, and am sure you could get all of it from the remote locations. What a great day and reminder of our “choices.”

Skip Absolutely! So many ideas and talks on Choices that I took so much away from the conference. I wanted to attend the live event but waited too late to get my tickets. Maybe next year I will attend the live event. I am working on something similar for Emerging Leaders.

I am yet to attend conferences in the US yet, been here a couple of months now. I did attend, as well as organize, plenty back home in Kenya.

Conferences have a way of changing and shaping the way you think and approach life. For me the most powerful thing is often the interaction with other like-minded people. Nothing powers you on like discovering and interacting people who are on the same road as you. And ofcourse the content and teachers/speakers.

I’ve heard of great conferences so far and Chick-Fil-A-LeaderCast sounds like a great one too. I love your list of expectations.

Ngina, I have been looking at the Chick-Fil-A-LeaderCast now for a few years and always wanted to go as well as the Catalyst conference. I think we all need to better ourselves as leaders and attending conferences like this will help. How were the conferences in Kenya?

They were powerful and life-changing! Some were international, most national. They were a mix of marriage, leadership and finance.
